Bloomsbury Art Fair Charity Auction | Helium Foundation
This summer, London’s academic and cultural district of Bloomsbury plays host to the inaugural Bloomsbury Art Fair.
From 14-16 July, in the stunning surroundings of Mecklenburgh Square, work by more than 40 internationally feted artists such as Banksy, Damien Hirst, Li Fuyuan and Takashi Murakami will be on sale alongside art by new and emerging artists including Lisa Gunn, Lana Locke, Jeremy Houghton and Keith Jansz.
The three-day, charitable event provides the opportunity for collectors and first time buyers to acquire some exceptional works of art as well as support and highlight the achievements of people who have suffered a catastrophic injury. Organized in conjunction with the Helium Foundation, all proceeds from the Art Fair will be donated to a coalition of charities: Motivation, the Parachute Regiment Charity, the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust and the Spinal Injuries Association.
Robert West is part of the Bloomsbury Art Fair Charity Auction

Abstract Painting (2010), kindly donated by Robert West.
Exploring the limits and possibilities of painting, West aims to reassert the relevancy of painting within the art market and society. West paints with seemingly no restrictions, dancing between abstract and figurative painting. Oil on canvas with white edges, unframed, in excellent condition, measuring 60 x 60 cm.
